During the week I come across hundreds of news items about Christianity and Islam.  Here is what I found most interesting/significant for the week of February 4-February 10.

Ex-Muslim Boy Clings to Faith Despite Beatings - Assaults like the one against Khoury occur regularly in Muslim countries around the world and the American mainstream media is unlikely to tell you about it. (CBN News)

Ayaan Hirsi Ali:The Global War on Christians in the Muslim World – From one end of the Muslim world to the other, Christians are being murdered for their faith. (Newsweek)

Saudi Writer Hamza Kashgari Detained in Malaysia Over Muhammad Tweets – A young Saudi blogger whose tweets about the Prophet Muhammad inflamed Islamists—who are calling for his execution—reportedly has been detained in Malaysia. It is not clear if he will be extradited to Saudi Arabia. (Newsweek)
